"I suppose I could understand it if men had simply forgotten unicorns... But not to see them at all, to look at them and see something else..."

The Last Unicorn, Peter S. Beagle

While the horses we ride and enjoy so much are lucky to have a safe place to call home, some are not so fortunate. They are the rescue horses saved from abuse, neglect, slaughter or other unfortunate circumstances.

The Forgotten Unicorn Project's mission is to promote the adoption of these horses and ponies that have through no fault of their own, found themselves tossed away and forgotten. These horses were no longer seen as the majestic and beautiful creatures they truly are by the humans of their past - they were seen as something else less deserving.

Those who rescue and re-home these equines are blessed with the magic to see unicorns.

Every horse can be a unicorn to somebody, you just have to be willing to open your heart and mind and see a little magic.

100% of profits from The Forgotten Unicorn Project are donated to horse rescues.
